Vice President of Finance

Our client, a prominent company on Cape Cod providing residential care, education, and treatment for children ages 8–22 and Adults ages 23+, seeks a Vice President of Finance to provide leadership and coordination of the company’s financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions while ensuring that the  company’s accounting procedures and reporting conform to GAAP.

Our ideal candidate has a master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business with strong accounting experience, five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position, and a CPA (preferred).  Additional qualifications include strong knowledge and experience of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP, automated financial and accounting reporting systems, and of federal and state financial regulations.  Our ideal candidate should have considerable ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections, and have working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis, and experience in Government contracts. Experience in non-profit healthcare sector a plus.
