Office/Accounting Clerk

KOBO Utilities, an electrical contractor specializing in heavy electric utility installations throughout the 50 States has an immediate opening at its home office in Sandwich, MA for an Office/Accounting Clerk.  Primary responsibilities are reception, accounts payable clerk, and payroll clerk, especially invoice entry for AP and payroll clerk duties for all staff.  There is a heavy emphasis on public works contracts that require compulsory accounting functions including prevailing wage reporting, mandated employee benefit programs, and multi-state tax reporting for both employee/employer taxes and sales and use taxes on purchases.

If you like being accurate, paying attention to detail, and have strong people skills working with staff, consumers, and other companies; we need to talk.  We seek qualified candidates that have a minimum of 3 to 5 years in construction job cost accounting, a complete understanding of accounting principles and procedures, strong skills in MS Office Excel and Word, with experience with Foundation Software a plus.
