Accounting Finance Manager

Part-time BookkeeperOur client, a prominent Cape Cod architectural firm providing comprehensive architectural and consulting services to commercial, civic and residential clients has an immediate need for an Accounting and Finance Manager.  Our successful candidate will be responsible for all financial transactions, maintaining project management billings, developing current profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash balance reports, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing in a fast-paced, high volume professional architectural office environment.

Responsibilities include the preparation and processing of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financials, including maintaining all general and subsidiary ledgers, health and retirement benefits management, maintaining project files, weekly reporting, contract agreement review, and bank account monitoring.  Other duties include managing workers’ compensation and related compliance reporting and oversight; performing workers’ compensation and general ledger audits, maintaining employee payroll and leave records, bank reconciliation, maintaining depreciation and amortization schedules, account transfers, monthly financial reports, working with company tax accountant to prepare annual returns and tax forms and various reports, and serve as liaison with company tax accountant.

Desired qualifications include accounting degree and background, 5 to 7 years performing critical job functions as described, fluency in MS Office software, QuickBooks accounting software, and BillQuick project management billing software desired.   Competitive salary and benefits package.
