Outside Yard Manager

Our Hyannis retail client has an immediate need for a full time Outside Yard Manager who will be responsible for supervising and directing staff, managing the outside sales yard and receiving area operations, providing great customer service and assistance, and managing a diverse plant inventory. The ideal candidate will thrive at leading staff, be accomplished at project management, and enjoy helping customers with their purchases of beautiful plants. The work environment is seasonally demanding and will require strong time management skills. Successful applicants should have an associate degree in horticulture or business with 5 -7 years’ experience working in a retail garden center or equivalent education and experience, must have a valid Class D driver’s license and hoisting license or be able to acquire a hoisting license within 1 year of appointment. M.C.L.P. certification is desirable, as is having an extensive knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals, plant varieties, and light requirements for plants
