Office Administrator

Our client, the Academy for Lifelong Learning, needs a 30-hour weekly Office Administrator who will be focused on the administration and management of the Academy for Lifelong Learning’s customer service, course information dissemination, enrollment, scheduling, and coordinative activities necessary for the successful delivery of the Academy’s mission.

The successful candidate will become a temporary employee of Rutherford Advisors, Inc. DBA The Executive Suite, and be outsourced to our client, the Academy for Lifelong Learning.

Candidates for this position should have a bachelor’s degree in a business field with a focus on customer relations and marketing communications, two to three years office administration experience, and experience working in a non-profit organization working with volunteers, Board members, and committees. Candidates should have strong computer literacy with significant skill and ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), databases, website CMS’s, Newsletter production, web integration, social networking, and Constant Contact experience; as well as having problem solving, writing/editing skills, multi-tasking skills, and communications skills (written and verbal).  Candidates should have some knowledge of and experience with QuickBooks, can maintain flexibility within a consistently changing environment; and have good customer service skills and be able to exercise patience and adapt to many varying personality types and scenarios. Candidates should have the ability to interact with all levels of an organization and take direction from varying people
